Project Rationale
Distance learning presents incredible challenges and opportunities for teachers, parents, and students. This year’s changing circumstances call for great flexibility and resilience as learning moves from home to school and back again.
The eagerness to rebuild a daily routine of learning while trying to adjust to an unprecedented school year amidst covid-19 and after a prolonged period of learning at home the school come up and plan to have a new style in developing reading with the help of Digital-Home Library for Kinder to 3 learners.
Developing Reading is learning to read and to reading to learn, incorporating reading materials and activities gives them a chance to practice and strengthen their reading ability and develop reading comprehension skills using the digitize reading materials.
Objectives
The main objective of these project is to:

Apply the new trends and style in story reading with comprehension

Develop a proficient reader in their class

Help students develop the knowledge, skills and strategies they must possess in story reading

Project Description
Digital – Home Library is design for the Iluginians (K to 3) to deliver unique digital library of culturally appropriate, age appropriate and original content to classrooms. It is a home-based library where they can access 24/7 with the use of stable internet connection. The project team had come up with this kind of project to promote the love for reading, help struggling readers and develop comprehension skills.
